According to the Wall Street Journal's Jeffrey A. Trachtenberg, Fifty Shades of Grey, along with its sequels, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, reached the 20 million book sales mark this July in the United States, creation it one of the fastest selling book progression in recent recall.

So, what is it nearly Fifty Shades of Grey that has captured the attention of women in their 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond? As many fans were keen to share their feelings, laughter, and blush-worthy enthusiasm for the book, a quantity of were embarrassed to put their inclusive monikers to their remarks so first names and ages have been used to identify readers.

As a rule frequent said that they heard nearly the book from friends or the media or on the Internet (the progression has its own Wikipedia pages) and Facebook.

As browsing the book aisles in the Riverdale Target and BJ's, one can't help except see stacks of the charcoal gray paperback with the knotted silver tie on the conceal. As Christine, 44, noted, you would have to be living under a rock not to have heard nearly it.

I heard nearly the book on television and asked my husband to buy it for me, says Maureen, 55, relaying a humorous story of how her husband bought her Between Shades of Grey instead. That book tells the story of the Soviet Union in the Baltic states in 1939.

It was a good book, except it was very different from Fifty Shades of Grey,' she said, laughing. I enjoyed the book and plan on ongoing with the progression to find on view what happens with Ana and Christian. I think it is a good summer interpret, except I do know a woman who allowed her 17-year-old daughter to interpret it. I do not think it is appropriate for teenagers, since it may spark an even superior interest in sex. For me, it is a powerful love story that is both emotional and physical. It is too an erotic fantasy that is not going to happen. I wasn't embarrassed to interpret it, except I wouldn't interpret it in front of my protect.

Another reader, Cindy, 45, found on view nearly the books from TV and enjoyed the first book.

I was interested in how Ana and Christian's relationship was going to turn on view. It was a great love story with a quantity of great twists and explicit love scenes, she said.
